Description
This is an authentic vintage Steiff “Zotty” teddy bear in a permanent sitting position. It is made of shaggy mohair plush with a yellow chest patch and an open orange felt mouth, which are signature features of the Zotty design. The bear has its original Steiff button-in-ear and yellow cloth tag with the PA 55 MASS 73 U.S. import mark. It is in very good vintage condition, showing only light wear to the mohair and paw pads consistent with age and one light scratch at the bottom of one eye as shown in the close-up photo. This sweet bear would make a wonderful addition to any Steiff or teddy bear collection.
It measures approximately 9” tall.
