Stunning matte black, gray with some blue and gold demi teacups by Betsons Japan. The dragon or serpent curls around the outside of the cups and plates made in moriage of fine layers of slip clay. Dragonware dates from the 1880’s to mid-century. The interior of the cups is the color of mother of pearl and one is very shiny white.
Very good condition with no chips or cracks. Notes one saucer has a golden dragon.
