This is a unique antique lot that tells a story of a German-American family in the early 1900s. The collection includes two beautiful, well-preserved religious books and a vintage photograph, all from the same era and likely the same community.

The Books:
Two small black books published by the Concordia Publishing House in St. Louis, Missouri.

The 1904 "Gefangbuch" (Hymnal): Excellent condition with shiny gold-gilt pages. The front is inscribed with a name and the year "1907."

The 1905 Prayer Book: A smaller book also in excellent condition with a gold cross on the front and gold-gilt pages.

The Photograph: A vintage tintype photograph mounted on a wooden block. The oval portrait shows a man in a suit and tie and is nailed to the wood block. The photograph type is consistent with the era of the books.

This lot is perfect for a collector of religious Americana, historical artifacts, or anyone with an interest in German-American genealogy. The items are in remarkably good condition.
