SJC Custom brass snare drum 14” X 6.5” w/ 2 inches hammered design along the center. Very well made.
I've owned this snare for 15 years and I've never needed to tune it. I own a drum dial and it always confirms the same reading, meanwhile most drums I've used go out of tuning within 20 minutes of use. Ten lugs hold a high end drum ring down, all helping to focus sound, and maintain tuning. I wanted bronze because I wanted the versatility, to have the warmth capabilities that can always be damped and muffled to emphasis a more punchy sound. Comes with Pearl snare stand, and pearl key. Brand new Remo Ambassador head.
