This is a guide for do-it-yourselfers who might want to take on the project of repairing their Bose Wave radio first generation to bring it back to its former glory.
If your Bose Wave Radio AWR1-1W is experiencing the following issues:
* Sound quality is not as good as it used to be
* Stuck on displaying time and won't switch to other inputs like aux or AM/FM
* Radio isn't playing
* The remote isn't responding (battery has been checked) light is showing up on the unit but no response to commands
* Display is too dark and needs changed (guide shows how to replace)
* The top button panel is unresponsive
* No sound in the left or right speaker (new speakers are not provided)
Very Important! There are 3 versions that Bose made and they contain slightly different internals so to receive the correct kit I'll need to know what version you have so message me.
