Vintage Royal Albert Antionette Tea Cup & Saucer Bone China Made In England Rare
This stunning set features scalloped edges, a footed cup, and gleaming gold detail and trim. The tea cup is beautifully proportioned with a fluted section above the foot. This pattern is usually found with a more bulbous shell-like pattern making this cup a rare find. The Maker's Mark puts this cup's manufactures in the 1960 - 1970's.
Launched in 1904 in England, over the years Royal Albert China has become synonymous with quality teaware and tableware: it was founded shortly after its parent company Albert Works was given a Royal Warrant after supplying original wares for the Diamon Jubilee of Queen Victoria!
Measurements: Cup 3" tall, 3 1/2" in diameter; Saucer 5 1/4" in diameter, lip rises 1" around.
Excellent pre-owned condition: no chips, cracks, or crazing. Mild wear on gilding on top of handle (see picture) and on cup rim.
