Beautiful Heintz Art Metal Shop bronze card tray or shallow bowl decorated with an overlaid sterling silver bird family. Nicely done, with birds on branches and bronze has a nice mostly uniform and regular patina. Marked on back with the HAMS mark and Sterling on Bronze Pat. Aug 27.12. With a 1912 patent, this is over 100 years old! It's also marked with a handwritten gold colored number as shown, presumably by a previous owner. -- 5 3/4" in diameter -- Condition is wonderful with some light scratch type wear on front, a few dark spots on back and minor expected wear overall. We've left the silver with its original patina since some people prefer it that way. Gorgeous!
