On offer is this wonderful antique victorian Wedgwood & Co lidded floral relief molded pitcher in a soft green with a slight blueish hue. The patent for this pitcher was registered on the 20th of January 1861. Made in Tunstall, England. The pitcher stands 8.64" in height and has a waist diameter of 4.55". Weighing 1lb 4oz. The condition is very good; there is a very small under rim chip that appears to have occurred in production - as it was smoothed out. There is also a hairline crack, possibly a firing crack, on part of the upper strap handle. Still a functional and beautiful antique pitcher. It is rare to find these with the original pewter hinged lid intact.
