Vtg Deruta Italian Ceramic Pottery Rooster Pitcher & Vase With Cork Lid Made In Italy Blue Flowers Set Of Two
This is a matching set of vintage Deruta Pottery from our large collection of all things vintage.
They are both 6" tall by 4 1/2" wide.
The pitcher has a handle that measures 5" wide.
The vase/jar had two handles that measure 6" wide. The lid of this piece is a fitted piece of round cork marked "Portugal".
The front of the pieces are decorated with raised handmade roosters and dark blue flowers with red berries.
On the verse is a bouquet of light blue flowers with red and blue berries. Green leaves surround the flowers.
At the neck of both pieces are scored in lite blue, orange. white and green rim.
Both pieces are marked "Italy" on each base.
There are a few minor chips on the vase/jar. One minor chip on the pitcher.
Each piece is glazed inside in white halfway down then turns into a brown glaze.
This set is absolutely amazing, tremendous detail.
