Jean-Jacques Walz (also known as Oncle Hansi) lived in Northeastern France from 1873-1951, and many of his paintings depict d'Alsace and Alsatian Children. This is an Off-Set, colored Lithograph with printed signature (See bottom right in photos). He was a successful painter, draftsman, caricaturist, landscape painter, watercolorist and porträtist. The colors have faded (quite evenly). Beautiful, decorative Frame has gold metal leafing with some popping on corner that could be easily tightened. Not terribly noticeable and could be hung and enjoyed without needing to do anything. Pricing with this in mind. A beautiful work of art with a nice aged, patina.
