Wonderful, matching set of hand painted tagua nut carvings from Columbia. In each piece you can see the unique designs and patterns within the nut, almost like a wood grain. I first thought them to be laquered wood.
Set includes 6 saucers (1 3/8 in.), 6 cups (1 in. wide, 3/4 in. tall and 3 serving vessels with lids (about 2 1/4 in. tall).
All items are in good, antique condition. One serving vessels has a chip in the base and a missing handle, the other two vessels are missing one handle each. Plates and cups are near perfect.
