Used but ever so lightly LG super multi dvd writer. If there was ever one that qualifies for open box condition then this would be it. Weighing in at 1lb.10oz. this drive packs a mean punch. 5.25" x 1/2h size allows for a proper fit in most standard machines.Read speed is 48x on the cd and 16x on the dvd. Write speed is 48x on the cd again and 18 on the dvd. If you are using the dvd r dl ( dl stands for dual layer or double layer)you'll be clockin' in at a 10x speed. Rewrite speed is 32x (cd), 6x and 8x on the dvd. There is a 12x speed reserved for the dvd-ram. This dvd is intended for removable computer storage. You can run programs from it, copy files to it, or delete it. Quite versatile, indeed. This is one drive that I am fond of. You just cannot go wrong on this one.
