Item for sale is a circa 1900 Victorian era friendship themed greeting card. Cover of the card is beautifully decorated with paper lace and small die-cut, embossed illustrations of flowers and cat heads. Inside is a simple note, "Friendship - May pleasures ever meet thee Upon the world's highway", guarded by a cupid with his bow. Item was removed from a deteriorating scrapbook with items dating from 1898 to 1906. Item is in nice antique condition, attached by glue to the scrapbook paper on the back. Measures 6.75" square.
