Original, vintage authentic Italian locandina size (13”x28”) movie poster from a 1970s re-release of the 1963 spy film “From Russia With Love” starring Sean Connery in his 2nd appearance as the iconic British MI6 Agent 007, James Bond. The poster features very cool images of the spy & his exploits. The film was a critical & commercial success becoming a 1960s blockbuster..
The poster is in very fine to near mint condition & displays beautifully. This unrestored poster has a bright colorful design & portrays images of 007 & from the film. The poster has minor signs of use particularly around the edges, corners & a fold line.
The film introduced several conventions which would become essential elements of the series: a pre-title sequence, the Blofeld character, a secret-weapon gadget for Bond, a helicopter sequence, a postscript action scene after climax, a theme song with lyrics, the line "James Bond will return/be back" in credits. This is considered one of Bond’s best films.
