The unit was TESTED and works just great. The inside of the cassette player is in amazing shape along with the battery compartment. HOWEVER, the unit does have some oxidation on the rubber exterior. Shown in the photos but I tried to clean it up and it seems to be cleaned a bit but maybe you can do a better job. Outside of this, it works really good and is clean inside.
