Exquisitely artistic hand painted design adorns this striking ceramic bird planter, featuring a second bird eating a seed w/flowing head & tail feathers, swirling feather & floral designs in a gorgeous rainbow of color on an elegant form. Fantastic & rare Mexican majolica piece that appears to be handmade w/no visible seams, marked w/style (mayolica) & origin (Santa Rosa, GTO Mexico) & drain hole on bottom. Excellent condition w/1 small issue on point of tail (see below & last pic). Amazing addition to a Mexican/Latin American or pottery collection, an eye catching holder for flora in any setting & perfect for bird or nature lovers.
