Angel Schlesser Essential Cologne by Angel Schlesser, Released in 2006, Angel Schlesser Essential is a men’s woody aromatic fragrance with warm spicy, aromatic, coffee, and citrus main accords. Best for fall and winter days, this fragrance has moderate longevity and sillage. Spanish perfumer Alberto Morillas is the nose for this aroma. It has fruity top notes of apple and bergamot, with spicy heart notes of coffee, cinnamon, and violet leaf. Tonka bean, cedar, cinnamon, and musk base notes round out this composition.Though the brand name of Angel Schlesser is German, the designer was born Angel Fernandez Ovejero in Santander, Spain. While he was initially interested in law and banking, Schlesser moved to fashion, creating men’s clothing for designer Juan Rufete. When women began asking him for clothes to go with his men’s jackets, he decided to work in women’s wear and launched his own brand in 1984. His first store opened in Madrid in 1996 and his first fragrance was launched in 1999.
